Team Member Bio

Hi I’m Danielle and I joined Bliss in the summer of 2026. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in History of Science from the University of Oklahoma. I graduated with a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

My areas of clinical interest and strength include preschool to school-aged children with developmental, sensory, and fine motor needs. I enjoy using a play-based approach to build meaningful connections with children while encouraging them to develop and strengthen new skills. I also completed my doctoral capstone project focused on occupational therapy interventions and resources to support children with hearing loss and their families.

Before joining Bliss, I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in South Dallas, and in a clinical setting in Coppell, Texas. During OT school, I gained experience in pediatric outpatient therapy and inpatient rehabilitation at a county hospital where I worked with clients across a wide range of ages, diagnoses, and functional needs. I was drawn to the field of occupational therapy because I enjoy helping clients develop or regain the skills they need to participate in activities that are meaningful to them.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our dog Loki, playing softball, and trying new recipes.
