Hello! My name is Gaby Welling, and I am originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University in 2022, followed by a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2026.
I was drawn to the field of speech-language pathology after witnessing firsthand how communication empowers individuals to connect with others and engage more fully with the world around them. I am passionate about helping clients build confidence and achieve meaningful progress in their communication and feeding goals.
My clinical experiences have provided opportunities to work with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings. I have supported adults with neurogenic communication disorders through group aphasia programs, worked in private practice with pediatric feeding disorders, provided classroom-based and small-group therapy for children with speech and language disorders, and delivered services for autistic individuals using AAC systems.
My clinical interests include early language development, speech sound disorders, neurogenic communication disorders, and sensory- and oral motor-based feeding disorders.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking walks with my dog, Jellybean, and tackling a good puzzle.
