I’m Megan Renner and I joined the Bliss team in 2023. I am a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and received my Bachelor’s. in Communication Disorders from the University of Redlands in Redlands, California. I then received my Masters. in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
My previous experience includes working in home health, adult patient rehabilitation, and working with children in elementary schools. I specialize in working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and receptive and/or expressive language delays. Before beginning my graduate school journey, I worked in ABA therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for 3 years.
My favorite part of being a speech-language pathologist is making connections with the pediatric populations, and helping children connect with their family, friends, and the greater community through the power of speech and language. I love seeing my kids’ faces light up when they’re able to communicate with their families and caregivers. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, hanging out with my cat Marsha, watching hockey (Go Kings Go!), and going to the movies.
