Team Member Bio

Hi! I’m Kailey and I grew up in Springdale, Arkansas and recently moved to Dallas in 2024. I have enjoyed working at Bliss Speech and Hearing Services and meeting so many wonderful speech therapists who are eager to collaborate and provide the best care to all of our clients.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders within three years as a Magna Cum Laude graduate at the University of Arkansas Honors College with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. I then graduated with my Master of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Auburn University.

I am passionate about pediatric feeding and early language development. I have extensive experience in serving children of diverse populations with severe medical complexities to include: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, children with food aversions, as well as individuals with general speech and language disorders. I am also adept in treating adults with aphasia and/or dysphagia following a cerebrovascular accident or traumatic brain injury.

At my previous place of employment, I worked in an early intervention day treatment center in Springdale, AR where I conducted speech therapy evaluations and provided individual weekly treatment for children ages six months to six years old with speech and language impairments including language delay, articulation delay, expressive and receptive language disorder, oral motor deficits, feeding difficulties, and pragmatic deficits.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a speech-language pathologist at Bliss because of the amazing clients I am able to serve every day. The gifts of communication, feeding and swallowing are often taken for granted, so it is an honor to provide individuals with the skills they need in order to build relationships, confidence, and improve their overall quality of life.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, going on walks, getting coffee, and exploring new restaurants in Dallas.
