Hi! I’m Marlyne Hammond, the Community Marketing Liaison at Bliss. In this role, I’m fortunate to combine my background in communications, public relations, advertising, marketing, and media with my passion for helping others—and I truly love what I do.
As a proud military brat, I grew up traveling the world, which shaped my belief that everyone is family. My parents eventually settled in Texas, where I attended Texas Woman’s University and earned a degree in Mass Communications. Over the years, I’ve worked in radio, television, and print media, as well as alongside children and healthcare professionals—fields that, while different, share a deep commitment to people, community, and communication.
My experience includes working with child life services, providing medical dictation for physicians, volunteering with Children’s Health, Reading and Radio Resource, teaching ESL, studying ASL, recording hundreds of educational books for children, and voicing training and marketing materials for healthcare organizations.
At home, my husband and I have a blended family with two grown children and one teenager. I’m a proud theatre, dance, and pageant mom, which means life is always lively! In my free time, I enjoy traveling, attending Broadway shows, and volunteering in the community.
