Hello! I’m Stacey and I have more than 25 years of experience in speech-language pathology and Auditory-Verbal Therapy. I graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Communication Arts and Sciences, a B.A. in Speech Language Pathology, and an M.A. in Speech Language Pathology.
I began my career in the public school system treating children with a variety of communication disorders including articulation, language, stuttering, and cognitive delays. I also worked at The Auditory-Verbal Center, a nonprofit outpatient clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, solely working with families who had a child or children with hearing loss. Since becoming certified in 2006 as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, I have worked solely with children with hearing loss in public and private schools as well as in private practice both in California and Texas.
Here at Bliss, I provide aural rehabilitation services to adults and auditory-verbal therapy to children with hearing impairment. I love having expertise in hearing loss and helping individuals maximize the use of their hearing device(s) through auditory-based therapy. It is an honor to support and guide families and adults through their hearing loss journey – it is extremely rewarding to observe progress in a patient’s communication development!
I am married and have three sons – Thomas Jacob and Oliver, as well as two dogs, and we love to spend time together as a family, travel internationally, cook, play board games, and eat out at new restaurants.
